For several years 500 km slovenských race became part of another well-known race – 1000 míľ československých – but is currently being revived as an independent race in its full glory. The period atmosphere filled with the smell of burning petrol, hot oil and roaring engines has a magical attraction for the spectators, while the competitors cannot resist the opportunity to measure their strength and find fellowship and new friendships while competing.

A large number of cars participated in the previous editions of the 500 km slovenských race, which have already had the opportunity to compete on the track from Tatranská Lomnica to Bratislava and later from Košice to Bratislava. The race promises a beautiful view of technical cultural monuments and will present them
to the public in Bratislava and the Tatras. The Slovak 500 km memorial ride is held under the auspices of the Czech ambassador to Slovakia,
Mr. Tomáš Tuhý, and co-organized by the Czech embassy
in Slovakia within the framework of the Czech Republic’s presidency of the European Union.
